If the close button is covered by your office tool bar:
Right click on the toolbar and a menu will appear.
Choose the Auto Hide Option
Click somewhere else on your desktop
To have your toolbar reappear move your mouse up and the
toolbar will reappear
Click the Show Desktop icon . This will
automatically minimize all of your windows and allow you to view your desktop
icons.
The two or more instances of Word on your task bar are a
normal occurrence. In Word 2000,
Microsoft has designed it so that you no longer have all of your documents
under one window. This allows you
easier access to all documents you are currently viewing.
The Word attachments are minimized on the task bar. Click on the Word document, then click on
the maximize box.
The extra mouse button is used for scrolling either long documents or web pages.
Simply push and hold down the scroll mouse button (Circled in figure to left.) Then, move the ThinkPad mouse either up or down as needed.
All
of your Microsoft Office programs icons have been placed in your taskbar right
next to your start button.
In order to dial in, you will now use PAL instead of Shiva.
Right click on your time (in the lower right hand corner of your task bar) and click on Adjust date/time. You may easily make your changes from there.
